What you'll learn:
By the end of this course, you will be confidently photographing on Manual Mode and understanding how to take an accurate meter reading. You will have learned ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed and how they interrelate as well as how to get creative shots by adjusting them in various ways. You'll have a clear understanding of composition, natural light for portraits, how to capture great landscape photographs and how to take your photos to the next level with Adobe Lightroom.
You will also complete an assignment and be ready to have your first Gorilla Exhibition (this is super fun, just wait til you get started to find out more)!
Level this course is suitable for:
Beginner or intermediate DSLR users who either don't currently shoot on manual mode, or do, but don't understand how to take a proper meter reading.
You may have just bought your camera; you may have had it for years and never switched it off auto; you may have experimented with AV or M mode but not really sure what or why you are adjusting those dials; or you may have learned photography back in your school days and need a refresher. Either way, this course is for you.

When does the course begin and end?
This course is available to you with full access to all modules as soon as you sign up and pay your enrollment. There is no time limits on how long it takes you to complete the course, so you can do it in a week (if you have a full week free!) or you can do it over a few months or even a year. It's entirely self paced.
Can I do the course more than once?
Hell yes! You have ongoing access to the course, so you can do it once, or as many times as you need to do each lesson to get it to sink in. Also, the way we've structured the course with the Gorilla Exhibitor element means we hope you return to it time and again, when you need motivation to pick up your camera and create another series of images!
What if I don't have a DSLR camera?
Will I REALLY get off auto mode by doing this course?
If you watch all the video tutorials AND do the experiments and shoots we explain to you in them, then absolutely, you will be off auto by the end. If you don't do the experiments and shoots? Then you'll understand how to be off auto in your head, but the reality of actually shooting will still evade you. Photography is practical and we REALLY want you to be using your camera to it's full potential. So if you really want to learn, dive on in and we'll get you there.
What if the course doesn't meet my expectations?
We are incredibly proud of this course and totally confident you'll love it. BUT, if for any reason you don't, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are having trouble at any point, just remember we are on hand via email to answer your questions if anything isn't clear. And we are always open to constructive feedback, so if you have ideas to improve the course, please let us know.
